Game Four -- New York at Washington -- May 5, 2012

The extra day's rest probably came in quite handy as the Rangers and Caps meet for game four of the Eastern Semi Final, hockey fans still talking about the marathon game of Wednesday night which saw three overtime periods required before the Rangers brought the night to an end.

Washington had their chances to claim victory in game three and you have to wonder if there won't be a little left over weariness in the Capitals after such a lengthy and ultimately unsuccessful completion to that game.

The Rangers meanwhile holding a 2 games to 1 lead in the series can take a commanding lead and follow up on their momentum from Wednesday, having weathered the six period storm the opportunity to take control of the series presents itself on a Saturday afternoon in Washington.

Game Four -- New York 2 at Washington 3

The series is tied at 2 games each
