The Group of Sixteen has been whittled down to eight, some of them a little more tired than others after a number of Game Seven show downs to bring the first round to a close.
A few surprises came our way in the first round, while others moved on to the next round all be it with a little bit of a struggle.
A record number of Overtime games became the story in the first round, some epic struggles that saw teams surrender leads late in a game, only to claw their way back to victory in Overtime. (well, everyone but Toronto as it turned out)
Games which set the stage for some interesting matchup, all with their own storylines.
