Things to post on a bulletin board

One win and Tomas Vokoun has decided to vent. Vokoun who has confounded the Red Wings has announced he’s tired of listening to the arrogant Detroit Red Wing line up, calling the players in Red nothing but a bunch of whiners.

Vokoun offered up some more uninvited advice to the Wings, suggesting that they seem to be surprised every time they get a penalty. As Vokoun sees it, the Wings are more concerned with the officiating than they are with playing the game.

But the real problem with the Wings may be their power play. A part of the Red Wing game that has gone positively frigid. Including the last four games of the regular season the Wings have gone 1-23 with a man advantage. If they want to give Vokoun some food for thought perhaps making the best of those chances would be helpful.

A team that many expected to make quick work of the Predators has had nothing but trouble from the Nashville cats. If the Wings weren’t thinking about Vokoun before, they surely are now. And if they need a reminder, just check the bulletin board for the thoughts of Chairman Tomas.
