Hockey has come to the iPod generation with Apple announcing that the iTunes Canada store, will soon be featuring downloadable NHL action for use on Canadian iPods.
On average about one new game a week will be made available for sale, though in weeks with a couple of exciting matches to offer that offering may be increased.
As well, a number of Classic NHL games will be available for purchase, all at the iTunes price of 1.99.
Once downloaded, the games can be viewed on a computer, iPod or a television equipped with Apple TV.
Hockey games have been available in the US for about a year now, but contractual problems with Apple and Canadian television right's holders had been holding up the television options north of the border until today.
