Game Four-- St. Louis at Los Angeles-- May 6, 2012

The happiest people in Los Angeles these days may not be Kings, Clippers or Lakers, but the folks that earn a living at the Staples Centre, the hub of Los Angeles sport these days has been a happenin' place this week and the Kings are up with a Game Four opportunity to sweep the St. Louis Blues.

Los Angeles has pretty well kept the pace that they dismissed the Vancouver Canucks with, a hard hitting, strong defensive game that sends out the offensive guns when the time provides for them, making much of the opportunities provided along the way.

The Blues, a young team that had a remarkable year suddenly have run out of gas, they have looked beaten in their last few games and short of a remarkable effort on Sunday, it doesn't seem likely that the Kings will be denied their pass into the Western Final.

With a sellout crowd of boisterous Kings fans in attendance for Sunday, Los Angeles has the opportunity to close out the series in front of fan base and a city that has begun to embrace them once again, reports from Game three suggested that the celebrity cache that every Los Angeles team seeks to acquire have started to return to the Kings.

Luc Robitaille apparently renewing acquaintances with Kings fans of the past looking to jump on board what appears to be a team not only on the rise, but suddenly ready to contend for the Stanley Cup right now.

Not to get ahead of them or anything, but from what we've seen from the Blues thus far, we don't see them providing for a detour from the Kings plan to move forward to the next round.

And the staff at the Staples Centre may just get a few days off to catch their breath.

Game 4--  St. Louis 1 at Los Angeles 3

KINGS WIN the series 4 games to 0
