Three rounds into the Stanley Cup marathon and the he LA Kings continue to roll on, the Phoenix Coyotes just the latest of NHL teams to find the Kings nearly unbeatable, a most dominating force on the ice and looking well placed to make it a short stop in round three on their way to the Stanley Cup Final.
LA has taken a commanding 2 game to 0 lead over the Coyotes, looking very impressive on their way towards those two victories, the Coyotes looking very much like a team that has finally hit a wall, with little left in their tank, or few answers to the challenges the Kings have presented.
Beyond losing on the scoreboard, the Coyotes seem to be losing their composure as well, frustration penalties and dangerous hits marking much of Game 2, one hit providing for a suspension for Martin Hanzal of one game, a most untimely development for the Coyotes but one clearly self inflicted.
By the time Hanzal can pull on a uniform again, his team may very well be down 3 games to 0, his return maybe be just in time for the post game handshakes after a Kings sweep of the series.
Game Three-- Phoenix Coyotes 2 at Los Angeles Kings 3
Los Angeles leads the series 3 games to 0
