... and while we're at it, Bring back the Jets too!

It seems that the Dalai Lama was in a sports minded way after a recent visit to Winnipeg.

The Winnipeg Free Press posted a picture of one of the world's most revered men, showing the Dalai Lama sitting on a plane, holding a Winnipeg Blue Bomber helmet and a football after having just autographed them.
.
He the urged the Bombers on to success with a salutation of "Victory to the Blue Bombers" no doubt quite timely, considering the Bombers appearance in the CFL's Eastern semi final getting underway tomorrow.

Winnipeg entrepreneur and would be Blue Bomber owner David Asper, provided the Dalai Lama with the helmet, football and of course the sharpie.
.
While we have no official confirmation of this, hockey fans can only hope that he also offered up a thought that Gary Bettman comes to his senses soon and returns the NHL to Winnipeg.

Now that would make for some good karma!
