Game Five - - Flyers and Penguins -- April 20 , 2012

With a win finally under their belts and the seed of doubt now planted in Philadelphia, the Penguins will seek to improve their standing in their first round series.

The Flyers goal tending, a question from game one on, became a thing of crisis management on Wednesday when the Penguins shelled both of the Flyers goaltenders for a combined 10 goal explosion.

An indication that Pittsburgh had finally found a way to work out of their scoring funk, the only concern perhaps that they used up all their goal karma in one game, then again, judging by the box scores of the first four games, we imagine there are still more goals to be found before all is said and done.

Every game proves to be an elimination game for the Pens now, if Wednesday was any indication, the Pens perhaps aren't ready to be eliminated just yet.

Should the Flyers hope to advance in this playoff year, they had best close this out quickly, allowing the Pens back into the series offers up nothing but misery and lots and lots of goals it would seem,

Game Five-- Philadelphia 2 at Pittsburgh 3

Philadelphia leads the series 3 games to 1
