Game Six-- Boston and Washington-- April 22, 2012

The Capitals, a team many suspected would not have a long shelf life in this playoff season are in the most enviable position of sending the Stanley Cup champions packing, with the NHL offering up that chance as part of a return engagement in BC from Saturday's game in Boston.

In a strange twist of time management, the Bruins and Caps will be back on the ice but 24 hours later, this time in front of a Washington crowd that perhaps wasn't confident of an extended playoff run at the start of the series, but no, with a hard earned victory in Boston yesterday, may feel that they have the Stanley Cup champs on the ropes.

The quick turn around is such that the pre game talking points have merged with the post game ones from Saturday, making for an easier work load for journalists (and bloggers for that matter) but still sets the scene for a most pivotal game six.

Game Six-- Boston 4 at Washington 3 (OT)

The series is tied at 3 games each
